Skaaaaaaaaaafs!

OK much better! Tired and cranky from a long day at the office and a scary lunch, I decided to head over to Skaf's Lebanese Grill, this really good Lebanese hole-in-the-wall down the street from work, to pick up some dinner takeout. One of those places that you'd find only by word of mouth, this restaurant is tucked away in a 7-Eleven mini mall in North Hollywood. I ordered the Combo Grill plus a side of rice for me and Isaac to share, which included 3 kebabs grilled to perfection, one beef shish , one shish tawook (chicken) and one kefta (marinated ground beef). But wait--there's more! It also comes with rice, a tangy shredded cabbage and tomato salad, pitas, garlic sauce, and some really kick-ass hummus. All for a little over $14, with leftovers too!

Normally my office mates and I eat in at Skafs for lunch; we never call it by it's normal name, which is just simply, "Skaf's" but rather, prefer to say it the long, drawn out, hostile way, "SKAAAAAAAFS!" It adds more excitement to the meal. And if you ever decide to eat there, they have some of the friendliest servers ever.

Yay! I'm happy!
