New Kid On The (Writer's) Block: Santouka Ramen, West L.A.

I hate when I get writer's block. It's like I have stuff to say, but the words aren't flowing, so I'll just get to the point.

I went to the newly-opened Santouka Ramen at the West L.A.
Mitsuwa food court the other day.

I had the medium-sized shio ramen.

It was good.

I liked it alot.

That's all I have to say.

  1. Hi DG - Happy New Year! We have managed to go to the Torrance location a few times....I really like the ramen at Santouka as well...for me it's the noodles that do the trick. I still haven't had time to do a post on it, but it's a nice bowl...I still enjoy Daikokuya much more tho'.

  2. I also share Kirk's warm wishes for a wonderful 2007! Also, about your post, I feel you DG.

    The following post is enough in all occasions:

    "Writing = Hard.

    Food = Tasty.

    Now leave me alone."

  3. DG - I loved this article. Short and to the point with a nice close-up of the money shot. :-)

    Remember, no one reads Playboy for the articles - even if they say they do - it's all about the high-gloss, delicious-looking [food] porn. And you got plenty of that going on!

    Happy New Year! Hope to you see you and Isaac soon.

    I love Ramen. This looks delicious. If I get a chance to go to the westside, I'll definately stop by here for a hot bowl of ramen.

  7. This is it. The best ramen. Not much needed to be said. Other than:

    "It was good.

    I liked it alot."

  8. Sometimes, you dont' even have to say anything and let the pictures do the work. Santouka is superdelicious but also very rich. For me, SSGumi is still the one. Happy new year to you and I! we have to eat again soon ok?
